Mashudu Modau is a Youth Entrepreneurship Evangelist & startup ecosystem specialist.

I built the Mashstartup a platform in late 2016 to document & advance youth entrepreneurship in Africa. This platform aims to increasing access to resources & opportunities available to entrepreneurs in South Africa. I have dedicated the work I do to accelerate the advancement of youth entrepreneurship under three core values: Enabling, Educating and Empowering. Enabling the development of more safe space for people who want to use entrepreneurship to positively impact the world around them. Educating people through the creation of digital content & resources to impact the learning journey of young entrepreneurs. Empowering people by developing experiences which significantly impact the growth of small businesses in South Africa. I have furthered the work I have done through this platform with a number of organisations that include being the community partnerships manager of one of Africa’s fastest growing Fin-Tech startups Yoco.
